TNA iMPACT video proves that videogame to television crossover can work

If you haven’t watched wrestling since you were six-years-old, then you may have missed a recent stunt between Midway and TNA Wrestling. In the above video, you’ll spot a particularly awesome character named “Suicide.” Suicide is a character developed specifically for the game TNA iMPACT!, but has been teased as a real character on the television show for the last few months.

Sunday, at the Final Resolution pay-per-view event, Suicide came to life and rocked some steroid-infused wrestlers. Apparently our man Suicide has a problem picking which side of the naughty/nice spectrum he wants to be on. The video will spell that conflict all out for you.

While I would argue that things like the “toaster oven” and “fleshlight” are better inventions, I can’t help but to be a little impressed with what TNA did here. Now, if only that video wouldn’t have made Jeff Jarret sound smart. I prefer to remember ‘ole Double J as the guy that broke 47 guitars every Monday night.
