TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled getting pulled from US

Ubisoft has confirmed that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled will soon be de-listed and abolished from Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network in North America. The yanking is due to an expiring license, and it’ll occur on June 30.

The game was largely considered an awful take on a classic game, so I doubt many tears will be shed. Just goes to show, however, that one can’t rely on digital content forever. Makes one wonder what’ll happen in this industry’s fabled all-digital future, though, that games can just disappear forever like that.
