Time to Wake Up: Control’s AWE expansion is set for the end of August

Control‘s first add-on was a table-setter, a fine-enough piece of content that bridged the gap between the base game and the expansion everyone was eagerly awaiting. The wait’s almost over.

As part of today’s State of Play stream, Remedy and 505 announced that the AWE add-on will be available on August 27. It’s unclear if there’s any timed-exclusive stuff going on this time, or if all platforms will get it simultaneously.

The release date trailer ends with a quick shot of a scruffy-bearded man. Hmm, WHO COULD IT BE? Remedy fans: It’s our time to shine.
