Today was the day tickets for Activision’s Call of Duty XP fan event were supposed to go on sale. Yep, they’re indeed on sale now for $150 per ticket. Not exactly an impulse decision, but one-hundred percent of these proceeds are going to the non-profit Call of Duty Endowment.
The event itself is set for early September, and should be a memorable experience for those big enough into the series to want to attend. Playable Modern Warfare 3, paintball, and a massive tournament are just some of what’s scheduled for the event.
