Three new Pokemon confirmed for Pokken Tournament

Still no sign of Vanilluxe

Last week we reported that Nintendo and Bandai Namco were teasing a new Pokémon being announced for Pokkén Tournament on January 15.

Before that announcement, Serebii.net spotted Japanese magazine CoroCoro confirming not one, not two, but three new fighters for the game.

Garchomp, Braixen, and the standard, non-shadow Mewtwo will all be showing up to the tournament. A standard Mewtwo was to be expected, but the other two are pretty exciting. I’m looking forward to seeing Braixen in action.

It’s worth mentioning that none of these Pokémon can be the one Nintendo and Bandai Namco are teasing, as they don’t fit the single clue they gave. As such, this week’s a good week to be a Pokkén fan. Four new confirmed characters!
