Complete Threadville Controls Guide – PC, Mobile, PlayStation & Xbox

A lot of buttons to be pressed.

Even though Threadville is a type of game that gets you immediately immersed in its cheerful but ultimately very dark world, some players might struggle even with the simplest things like controls. Here’s a complete guide on controls in Threadville.

Getting around the world in Threadville isn’t complicated at all. What you’re going to be using wherever you play are the movement, crouch, sprint and interact keys. Of course, it depends from platform to platform what those keybinds are, and with further updates we’ll surely get the option to choose our own keybinds. Until then, we’ve set out all the keybinds for PC, mobile and controller users.

Speaking of controls, PC might be the best platform for playing Threadville. As it usually happens with new releases such as this one, the gameplay is most optimized for a mouse and keyboard setting. Here are the Threadville keybinds for PC:

  • W: Walk forward
  • A: Walk to the left
  • S: Walk backwards
  • D: Walk to the right
  • Space bar: Jump
  • C (toggle): Crouch
  • Left Shift (hold): Sprint
  • E: Interact with objects
  • Numbers 1-9: Inventory slots
  • Q: Emote/panic

Keep in mind there’s no shift-lock in this game, so you’ll need to get around that if that’s your preferred way of playing.

Our hot tip is to play a game such as Threadville on a bigger screen, just so you can properly experience the world it has to offer. A phone does work too, but a tablet is a great choice for this game. Here are the Threadville controls for mobile:

  • Middle of the screen: Look around
  • Thumbstick: Walk forward, backwards, to the left and to the right
  • Jump button: Jump
  • Crouch button (toggle): Crouch
  • Move the thumbstick further: Sprint
  • Click on the object: Interact with objects
  • Click on the inventory slot: Inventory slots
  • Panic button: Emote/panic

Threadville Controller Keybinds

As it usually happens with new releases, playing Threadville on a controller is the least talked-about way of playing, since everything is focused on PC and mobile experience. However, no need to worry! We’ve tested this out as well, and here are all the keybinds for controller users:

  • Right analog stick: Look around
  • Left analog stick: Walk forward, backwards, to the left and to the right
  • A: Jump
  • Right trigger (toggle): Crouch
  • Fully press the left analog stick (hold): Sprint
  • X: Interact with objects
  • L1/R1: Choose between inventory slots
  • B: Emote/panic

And that’s all the controls in Threadville. Choose whichever platform works best for you and blast through the game. Looking for some similar and equally fun games? Check out our Roblox tag here on Destructoid.
