THQ working on an accessory, will hit in 2010

THQ brass thinks a peripheral will give them a “competitive advantage.” In an article in the LA Business Journal (spotted by Kotaku), THQ chief executive Brian Farell teased an upcoming accessory to be debuted in 2010. He said it would be different than the junk in all of our closets and could give the publisher an edge.

“We have something that we think is different from anything else out there and will give us a competitive advantage,” Farrell told somebody, possibly a wall. “Beyond that, we can’t say much.”

Great. Because what we need right now is something else clotting our living room walkways. Let’s hope it’s a sledgehammer for the next Red Faction. We’d actually consider throwing away one of our three drum kits to make room for a plastic hammer of doom.
