THQ Nordic says it had a great year thanks to Deep Silver and the Goat Simulator developer

‘Satisfactory’ did well for Coffee Stain Studios

In their financial report for January through March 2019, THQ Nordic is reporting a 158% increase in net sales this past quarter. The publishing giant gives most of the credit to Deep Silver (Metro Exodus, Outward in particular) which netted 794 million SEK (Swedish Krona) or 82.3 million USD, but gives a shout out to Coffee Stain Studios, who earned 98 million SEK (Roughly 10.1 million USD) and “exceeded their expectations,” assisted by the early access launch of Satisfactory.

THQ Nordic also reminds us of their massive worldwide publishing house reach, which managed to strike deals with publishing partners for Kingdom Hearts III, Dirt Rally 2.0, Monster Energy Supercross 2, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5, and Devil or Alive 6 in certain portions of the world.

Below, you’ll find a list of THQ’s full announced lineup throughout the next fiscal year, which the firm says it sunk 305.2 million SEK into for development costs. It should give you a bigger idea of just how much power the publisher has and how much IP it has at its disposal.

As a note, THQ Nordic has also low key announced in its financials that Metro studio 4A Games is working on another “undisclosed AAA project.” The giant also acquired Piranha Bytes (Risen), as well as Australian publisher 18point2 Pty Ltd. So you can add more to the secret list of unannounced projects only THQ Nordic has access to.
