Unless you live in Japan, this might be a costly way to spend some time with Street Fighter IV, but the option is on the table for you to decide. IGN has learned that the game will be available in playable form at the AOU 2008 Amusement Expo on February 16th. Industry folks will be able to sample the game a day earlier, but who’s counting… right?
There isn’t much in terms of further details at the moment, but if you speak Japanese or have a flair for translating foreign text into whatever language it is that you speak, then it would be wise to keep tabs on this game’s official blog. If the lines waiting to play the game prove to be unbearable at the Makuhari Messe, you can always head over to International Exhibition Hall 3, and catch an Iron Maiden show. After all, nothing says F’n Metal like Street Fighter. Wouldn’t you agree?
