Now through Saturday, October 6 at 5:00pm GMT, minimalistic platformer Thomas Was Alone can be bought directly from its developer Mike Bithell for half price. $4.99 gets you DRM-free copies of both the Mac and PC versions of the charming game.

In his review, Josh praised the narrative, but I know some of you get antsy when it comes to certain price points for certain types of games, this being one such example. Does the discount change anything? There is, of course, a playable demo if you’re still unsure.
