I’m enjoying the Yo-Kai Watch anime more than I thought I would. The dub is actually pretty good (it helps that the always talented Johnny Yong Bosch is voicing Nate), and the localization team kept in a lot of the spirit of the original, which is filled to the brim with non-neutered references to Japanese culture.
This newest commercial for the upcoming western 3DS release attempts to explain what a yokai is, with a live-action anime flair. The game will hit the eShop and retail early next month on November 6.
