This weekend on Twitch TV: Tenorman must die

Recommended Videos

Another weekend approaches, and Destructoid’s Twitch TV channel is showing a vulgar disregard for the flow of time. Retroactive is discovering a beat ’em up from 22 years ago. Chill with Phil is roaming the zombie-laden streets of 1998. Saturday Morning Hangover is bringing you the scoop with an early showcase of South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge, which just hit Xbox Live Arcade. To top it all off, the guys have some copies of the game to give away to the lovely viewers!

Around the channel this weekend, we have King Foom chatting on Mash Tactics with a pioneer of production quality in streaming, X4Ryuusei. Brett and Cait are moving on to a new game for the first time in the history of Weekend Escape with Minecraft. Awdamn is crying his way to salvation in Binding of Isaac on Substituted Reality. And Jonathan Holmes is speaking with Jools Watsham, a man with over 18 years experience in the videogames industry, on Sup Holmes.

It’s “Community Collaboration Friday” at 4p.m. Pacific Mash Tactics, on which King Foom sits down and raps with broadcasters from around Twitch TV. This week’s guest is X4Ryuusei. X4Ryuusei was one of the earliest adopters of HD games streaming, and has a penchant for playing Japanese import games. Tune in and get yet another perspective on this crazy thing known as livestreaming.

Substituted Reality is Destructoid’s only PC exclusive gaming show, hosted by lovably offbeat caster, Awdamn, and airing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8p.m. Pacific. Tonight after Mash Tactics, Awdamn is facing damnation in The Binding of Isaac. Saturday night it’s another go at the gold in Payday: The Heist. And Awdamn is going back into the fray Sunday night with Star Wars: Republic Commando.

Saturday Morning Hangover with Conrad Zimmerman and Jordan Devore airs from 10a.m. to 12p.m. Pacific. Come watch as they play the latest Xbox Live Indie Games demos for your enjoyment, and revel in the beauty of Conrad’s mustache! This week, Conrad and Jordan are bringing you South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge, a new XBLA exclusive platformer. Better yet, they have a few copies to give away to the viewers!

Hang out with Destructoid Contributors Brett Zeidler and Caitlin Cooke every Saturday at 12p.m. Pacific as they play through entire games with a focus on co-op. It’s a safe bet that Cait is probably going to get mad at Brett for everything at some point. It took Brett and Cait a whole lot of overtime and hair-pulling to finish Portal 2 last week, but it’s finally done and they’re ready to move on. This week they put their cooperative spirit to another test in Minecraft. Tune in to see if they can resist kicking over each other’s sandcastles.

Chill with Phil airs this and every Saturday at 4p.m. Pacific. Host, Philanthr0py is continuing his full series playthrough of the Resident Evil franchise. This week, Phil is finishing out his co-op run through the campaign of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Phil has an unshakeable urge to consider the story of RE: ORC as canon and finish the tale of Raccoon City before moving on to new locales.

Sup Holmes is live talk show starring Destructoid editor, Jonathan Holmes, airing every Sunday at 1p.m. Pacific. Every week, Sup Holmes features games industry professionals discussing the issues, and answering viewer questions. This Sunday, Holmes is joined by Jools Watsham, co-founder of Renegade Kid, and veteran of the videogames industry.

321Go Cast is Destructoid’s live-recording community podcast about nothing, airing at 2p.m. Pacific and starring JohnnyViral, Pangloss, Chris Healy, and Ryu89. This week, the guys are joined once again by Maya Kramer (KatamayaDamacy), and the legendary Andrew Benton(powerglove) is coming by to give the lowdown on PAX East activities.

Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! starring Johnny Luchador and Bill Zoeker airs every Sunday at 4p.m. Pacific. Rad Show takes a light-hearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than completing feats of skill. This week, the guys are playing WWE ’12 in honor of Wrestlemania. Come for the silly created wrestlers, stay for the hilariously wonky game mechanics.

Retroactive centers around the games of yesteryear. Every Sunday at 6p.m. Pacific, and Monday at 8p.m. Pacific, its host, Crux adventures through nostalgic games on the consoles of his childhood. This Sunday, Crux is playing Combatribes for the SNES, a lesser known beat ’em up from the makers of Double Dragon. Monday night is the classic Super Star Wars for SNES.
