This week in Games on Demand, Xbox LIVE deals, and more

This is a busy week in Xbox LIVE land. First up, the slow but steady stream of Games on Demand titles continues with Call of Duty 4 (except Japan and the UK), Battlestations: Midway (except India and Japan), and Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (now in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe).

Prices on those obviously vary per region, so let me just say the pricing on CoD4 is ridiculous ($39.99), even if it is comparable to its retail counterpart. On the flip side, during this week Lazy Raiders, Band of Bugs, and Madballs Babo: Invasion are down to five bucks each rather than the normal ten. A few XBL Indie games are also on sale.

What’s this mysterious “and more,” you ask? Simmer down, as it’s probably not of much interest to you. Ben 10: The Rise of Hexon top of Doom II and Voodoo Dice — hits Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday. Tell your son/daughter that it’s coming; or not, if you don’t want to spend $10 on them. We won’t judge.
