This weapon never made sense: Man at Arms makes Squall’s gunblade

Also, friendly sparring with deadly weapons seems unwise in hindsight

It has been a while since we have posted about Man at Arms, but the series is still going strong, making real life replicas of fantasy weapons. The Reforged spinoff follows a different team of blacksmiths and craftsmen, with the twist that they would do weapon remixes like an impractical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles four-part hybrid.

Squall’s gunblade from Final Fantasy VIII is already a sort of hybrid weapon, though it was never really clear how the revolver part factored into it, since it was never used as a projectile weapon. Anyway, Man at Arms recreated the nonsensical piece, and with all of the lion-themed detail, it turned out looking pretty rad.
