Nine times out of ten, fan-made action scenes sucks. Then there is that one time when everything just clicks, and you’re in for one hell of a ride.
The Thousand Pounds Action Company, the Los Angeles-based fight choreography team that made those Street Fighter-inspired combo videos way back, have just released a short film based on Street Fighter X Tekken. Ryu is struggling with the Dark Hadou and catches the eye of Kazuya, who wishes to draw Ryu’s latent power out. Violence naturally ensues.
These guys know what they are doing. This features some slick presentation, with better action than the both official live-action movies combined (though admittedly, that isn’t such a high bar to begin with).
