The “My Smash Corner” YouTube channel is back with another Super Smash Bros. tutorial video, covering the new ledge grab mechanic. As you may know the new iteration has a completely reworked ledge concept that drops you off of a ledge if another player grabs on.

But what you may not know is that after a player grabs a ledge a second time in succession, you have approximately 20 frames to get a guaranteed hit on them, which usually can be a down-smash, or something unusual like Mario’s up-tilt that can lead into combos. The video also shows you how to edge trump, which is basically when you force them to grab again by grabbing it yourself.

My edge game is now strong.
