Celebrating 500 million PlayStation system sales
PlayStation has cleared the 500-million-systems-sold mark and then some: Sony’s worldwide console sales are sitting at just over 525 million. In celebration of this feat, Sony is making a limited edition PS4 Pro system that’s blue and translucent and super slick. I wish I in any way needed one!
The 500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro will cost $499.99 USD and $639.99 CAD with the production restricted to 50,000 units worldwide. Keep an eye out for sales to start in a couple weeks on August 24.
Sony is also prepping a dark blue translucent DualShock 4 controller for $64.99 USD and $74.99 CAD, and a similarly styled Gold Wireless Headset for $99.99 USD and $119.99 CAD.
I’m not into the accessories as much, but dang, the copper detailing on the console sure is nice.
