This long distance parry in Zelda: Breath of the Wild is amazing

GirKart64’s video shows just how far you can push the limits of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Attempting to set a record for farthest parry, they walk all the way up a mountain, get in clear view of a Guardian, and let it rip.

It’s not so much the act itself (you can spend plenty of time calculating the shot for a video, and the parry timing is fairly forgiving), but the fact that you can do it at all. I’ve seen hundreds of videos over the course of the past month or so that have shown off all sorts of wacky things like this — I love that hundreds of thousands of people are stretching what can be done in the game, and still finding more.

Will we see a trick like this years later? I hope so!
