This is the most jubilant videogame developer I know

A man who makes it impossible to frown

Recommended Videos

Videogame enthusiast culture isn’t always a feel good thing. Between the cold, calculating marketing tactics of publishers, the increasing hostility between different gamer subgroups, and fears of certain publishers, developers, consoles, or genres “dying”, it can feel like doom and gloom everywhere you look sometimes.

If you’re ever feeling down about gaming, I suggest you watch this video. It is impossible to feel bad while talking to Will Brierly (Vivian Clark, Soda Drink Pro, My Girl). This is a man that invented Google Cardboard. This is a man who put a giant game about doing literally anything inside a game where all you do is walk and drink soda. This is a man who knows how to live.

Thanks again for the talk Will, and stay tuned to Destructoid for more videos from the Boston FIG
