It will be pared down in the future

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the LGBTQ focused convention GaymerX, and I had hoped to make it out at some point to see what it was all about. But according to the con’s official Twitter account, GaymerX2, set to take place from July 11th-13th, will be the last major event.

Apparently the event grew too large too fast, and “the amount of money put into it became too much of a burden.” There will be smaller events in the future though, and the creators have noted that “[they] don’t want to say GaymerX is forever gone.” I hope everyone attending in July has a great time.
