On November 21, the Xbox LIVE Arcade version of Super Meat Boy will jump up five dollars in price to $15. I assume many of you are aware that this is because the game actually released on sale, but just in case, now you know.
Apparently the game is selling quite well, which is good to hear. I love it when stellar, deserving games sell well. I’m always shocked at how humble Team Meat is over Super Meat Boy. Take this snippet from Edmund McMillen, for instance:
“There was a great deal of worry on our side that gamers today wouldn’t be accepting of a game that didn’t hold their hands and coddle them the way the vast majority of games do these days. We are more than pleasantly surprised by the amazing response, it has renewed our faith in the gaming community and the future of games as a whole.”
It’s not too late to join the party.
