This is probably our last look at Pokemon Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor DLC before its June 17 release

A quick clip

Pokemon Sword and Shield is such a fascinating game from pretty much every perspective. It’s somehow one of the most-hated entries and one of the most successful. Despite the National ‘Dex protests the game seems to be chugging along with over 17 million copies sold, ready to enter a new era of DLC very soon.

That era actually begins on June 17, when the Isle of Armor expansion hits, and will continue throughout 2020 and beyond the arrival of the second pack (Crown Tundra). Before that all happens, we’re getting what seems to be one last look at Isle of Armor in this brief 30-second clip. Despite the short length, it does a decent job of explaining what’s new and the subtle differences between the two versions (0:24) both from a creature and landscape perspective.

All that said, it’s still telling that Nintendo UK has comments turned off for this Pokemon trailer, as they do not do that for all of their videos. Pokemon remains a hot button issue!
