Even though the series has, to put it kindly, been questionably entertaining as of late, Seth McFarlane’s Family Guy juggernaut keeps going, bolstered by plenty of merchandise. After releasing one game back in 2006, Fox has just announced a second: Family Guy Online, a free, browser-based multiplayer game.
Players can make a character for the game, share it on Facebook, then go on adventures with other players in the fictional town of Quahog. The Family Guy writers are also working on the game, so you can expect a bunch of the same references and humor they’ve been pulling out for several seasons now.
Family Guy Online is up now, so you can go over and check it out, you know, if that is your thing. Me? I think I’ll pass. The show hasn’t been funny to me for a while.
