This game industry layoff list site is a huge bummer

Ugh.

Check out site Game Job Watch and be bummed out for the rest of the day. It’s essentially a running list of industry job losses. Double up on the bummer with their Twitter feed.

At the site, click on any company logo to see the last losses, giving you loss numbers and dates. You can even sort by date to find, for example, that SOE sent some folks home on August 28. Details can be submitted from those laid off to fill out the list. They invite those laid off to do so.

On the upside, it can serve as a resource for studios looking for talent.
