If you weren’t lucky enough to get BioShock early, why not give this free indie game a try? It’s called Punishment 2: The Punishing and it’s going to kick your ass.
TheGoldenDonut sent this in to the old Destructoid tip-line and I’m not sure if I should thank him or cram a bee’s nest into his mailbox. The game is certainly addicting, but it’s also incredibly evil. For every time you advance to the next level, you have to make your way back to the first level to reactivate the “main switch.” It may not sound that bad, but trust me, it is.
On the bright side, Punishment 2 has a fantastic, yet simple retro style. When you first start playing it, you’ll probably die … a lot. But once you get good at maneuvering your character, you’ll be able to fly through the levels with ease (think Prince of Persia).
What are you waiting for? Download Punishment 2 already! I couldn’t get past level 7, so see if you can make a fool out of me by getting to level 8 or higher. Remember, pics or it didn’t happen.
