They trapped poor Pikachu in this New 2DS XL

New model launching November 17 in Japan

In North America, Nintendo is bringing out two fresh New Nintendo 2DS XL models this year. We’ve got that orange-and-white number coming up fairly soon, on October 6, and then there’s also going to be a nifty Poké Ball edition making the rounds on November 3. Japan has us beat, though.

This immediately calls to mind those dogs trapped in wood. Pikachu might look content on the back of the New 2DS XL, but he’s pika-pika-ing in agony on the inside.
