I don’t know when it happened, exactly, but in recent years I’ve started to find low-poly 3D characters more and more charming. Take these upcoming Virtua Fighter figures, for instance — I think they’re great! Goofy as hell, but not in a bad way. I’ve come full circle.

Good Smile Company is taking pre-orders until February 24, 2016 and the toys are expected to ship in September. They’re around $40 each. As for those alternate versions shown above, they will be sold separately at a later date. Same goes for that scene-stealing lil arcade cabinet.
