These Mad Max screenshots are looking a bit hot and sweaty

Oh my stars look at the leather

Here’s something to make you feel old and angry: I’ve never seen the Mad Max movies. The first one came out 15 years before I was born, so the hype surrounding them was never around in my lifetime. I know a little bit about it though: it’s about muscular Australians being very sweaty and wearing a lot of leather, and that that’s more than enough for me to pay attention. I know Mad Max: Fury Road is coming out next month, so I guess now is the perfect time for me to explore hot austral-I mean a cult classic film series.

As reported by Eurogamer, Just Cause developer Avalanche has released a batch of new screenshots for the Mad Max game coming September 4 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. We haven’t heard too much about the game, seeing as it’s only a few months away now, but at least we know it’s still alive doing uh… whatever it is Mad Max does. The shots show a lot of desert, a lot of industrial scenery, the Batmobile for some reason, and hot and sweaty leather-clad aussies punching other hot and sweaty leather-clad aussies. Yep, I’m sold.
