There’s a new Resident Evil CGI movie in town

I don’t mind the Resident Evil films all that much. Wait, what? No no, I don’t mind the CGI films — I’m glad the live action series is ending (though it literally killed someone in the making of the last one).

The next official Resident Evil film will indeed be CGI, handled by Marzan Animation. It’s a work in progress called Resident Evil: Vendetta, and will be out sometime in 2017. I’ll probably catch it when it hits streaming services.
