There’s a ‘50% chance’ we will see a proper new Legacy of Kain game

So you’re saying there’s a chance

Legacy of Kain fans have had a small taste of the universe recently with the free-to-play shooter Nosgoth, but others (myself included) are chomping at the bit for a real, proper action game. Finder AU managed to speak to Crystal Dynamic’s senior designer Michael Brinker, and it looks like there’s hope of that actually happening.

Brinker stated, when asked about a potential future Kain game, “it’s a 50/50 chance. We have in-house developers who really want to make that game. It’s interesting because people look back at our history and our franchises and see that we have some really great iconic IPs.”

It’s cool that the developers themselves really want to see the series return let alone the legions of fans. Right now, Crystal Dynamics has its hands full though possibly developing a rumored third Tomb Raider game when they accidentally confirmed a trilogy at gamescom, and they still have to launch Rise of the Tomb Raider, so we’ll see when or if this becomes a reality a few years out at the earliest.
