The world’s largest video game collection sells for $750k and I am extremely jealous

This little slice of gaming heaven was finally sold to a lucky bidder

One of the most impressive game collections I’ve seen in some time was up for sale recently, and it sold for a whopping $750,250. That’s over 11,000 games on systems from the Amiga to the WonderSwan. I’d list all the systems here, but you might drop to one knee and weep at the magnificence of it all. It’s truly a glorious sight to behold, and it’s even been sanctioned by Guinness as the world’s largest with no repeats.

Check out the video above as well as the original GameGavel listing and the collection of images and write-ups accompanying this massive slice of video game nirvana. Then, go look at your own stash and feel inadequate. That’s what I’m doing right now. Damn, this is a beautiful thing.
