Phew! CD Projekt Red certainly had a lot of good news if you’re a fan of The Witcher games. With the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 arriving soon, CD Projekt Red announced a few things this afternoon to whet your appetite for Geralt and co. a little further.
First, the developers have guaranteed that The Witcher 2 will be available through UK retail chain GAME, despite their recent troubles. Also announced is a free The Witcher 2 interactive comic available for iOS devices on April 17th. The devs are also letting fans get their hands on 1000 review copies of the game, so if you fancy writing a review, sign yourself up.
The original Witcher is getting some attention too, with a Mac version of the game available right now on Steam, which is free if you already own the PC version. Also free is a DRM-free backup of The Witcher available n April 17th, regardless of where you purchased your original copy from. So if your dog ate your original Witcher disc (or somehow managed to eat your Steam account), you’ve still got your game.
