Okay, so that PlayStation 4 Pro update for The Witcher 3 might have taken longer than expected, but the important part is that it’s here. The update is live as of this morning, providing players with “support for 4K resolution and a slight boost to performance” in the core game and its add-on content.
There isn’t HDR support in this patch, but it sounds like Pro owners with a 1080p display can benefit from supersampling, which is a pleasant surprise. That’s not always the case for these sorts of updates.
Xbox One X players will also get a 4K update for The Witcher 3 later this year.
