Unless you’re filthy rich and have all the consoles, chances are you’ve missed out on a hot exclusive here or there. You probably would have loved to get your hands on that blockbuster du jour, if only you owned that other system. Trust me, we’ve all been there. Luckily, that’s slowly becoming a thing of the past. There’s more and more great games coming out all the time that we can all enjoy, regardless of our platform of choice.

Here are our nominees for the Best Multiplatform Game of 2013:

And the winner is…

Grant Theft Auto V

Of course it was Grand Theft Auto V. Of course it was. It just had to be. Rockstar’s mega-franchise returned with a vengeance this year, offering what’s by far the biggest and best GTA experience to date.

Los Santos is an absolutely massive criminal playground that gives players the keys to the toy chest. Whether it’s pulling off a heist, playing tennis, or just jacking cars, there’s a myriad of ways to wreak mayhem of just kick back and relax in the massive city and surrounding environments. Also, Trevor.

As for the community votes, BioShock Infinite took home the award for best multiplatform game voted by you. Grand Theft Auto V came in second, and Dragon’s Crown took third place.
