While us mere mortals are just now playing this week’s Rock Band downloadable content, the folks at IGN are living in the future.
Not only do they have the goods on next week’s DLC — a Grateful Dead pack — but they’ve played and rated the damned songs. The songs included in the pack will be: “Cold Rain and Snow,” “Doin’ That Rag,” “Don’t Ease Me In,” “Fire on the Mountain,” “Hell in a Bucket,” “and “Uncle John’s Band.” In addition to the six pack, which will cost you $9.99 (800 MS Points), each song can be downloaded individually for $1.99 (or 160 MS Points).
Not being a Grateful Dead fan, I’ll pass on these (even though IGN rates three of the six tracks as a “Must Download”). But from what I understand, the Grateful Dead have a few fans, so this should make a few videogame-playing Deadheads happy.
