The Walking Dead is finally headed to PlayStation 4

I’m not really surprised, but good news!

It’s been some time since The Walking Dead shambled into our hearts, but there’s still reason to revisit Telltale’s zombie opus, especially since it looks as though the Game of the Year Edition is coming for PlayStation 4 owners in June.

GameStop has listed The Walking Dead for a June 17 release in the US, collecting all five episodes of Season One and the DLC episode 400 Days for $29.99. As Eurogamer points out, the projected release date happens to fall on a Tuesday, when the PlayStation Store updates in North America. Perhaps it will be available via digital distribution as well.

If you’ve been itching for a good reason to go back to your beloved Clementine or you’ve been running away from the live-action series, this is a great excuse. I know I’m still trying to build my PS4 library up. It’s shamefully small, and I need more games, but I can’t help but feel like all I’m doing is buying the same things over and over again. Déjà vu much?
