The veterans administration in Gears must be hellish

Conrad and Jordan’s Couch Campaign continues

I’ve known more than a few wounded veterans in my day, both family and friends. If there’s one thing I have taken away from their experience, it’s that dealing with the US Veterans Administration can be almost as annoying as a war itself. At least wars end (or, at least, they did in the good old days).

But can you imagine how difficult life would be for the veterans of the Locust War? Infrastructure is clearly up the creek already if they’re desperately holding their tribunals while the war — literally — happens around them. And, for all their fancy technology, fighting a subterranean race of violent humanoids can not be good from a post-traumatic stress disorder perspective. The people of Sera are screwed.

Great news, everyone! We’ve decided to give you a bonus episode of Couch Campaign today, so you don’t have to wait the whole weekend to see how our run of Gears of War: Judgment turned out (plus, it’s a bit of a letdown from a viewing perspective; you’ll see).

Make sure to tune in next week, when we kick off our next game, BattleBlock Theater!
