The DOJO week started off with the announcement of a new map based off of PictoChat. Dale gave you all a look at it on Monday. I’m not too sure what I think about it myself — reminds me of Game & Watch’s stage. Tuesday brought us the above video for Donkey and Diddy Kong’s part in the story line. His bananas get stolen (again) and DK goes on a rampage. Diddy Kong jumps in to back up DK with his Peanut Gun all gansta-like. At E For All, they showed this video and right after the movie was over, it went into co-op Adventure mode. Looked really good.

Wednesdays update brought the return of Target Smash! It’s basically a mini-game where you have to destroy several targets as fast as possible. The weirdest part of this update though has to be the fact that Masahiro lumped the news of the new replay mode with the Target Smash! news. You can record only up to three minutes of gameplay and you can also send your replays off to your friends.

Thursdays update has to be my favorite of the week though. King Dedede is a playable character! King Dedede is going to be in the same class as Bowser and Donkey Kong as a heavy weight fighter.  Friday brought more news for King Dedede with his special moves set. His up move is called Super Dedede jump. He jumps high up in the air and lands back down hard and will hurt anyone that is near his landing zone. He is pretty vulnerable when doing this move though. His side special move is called Waddle Dee toss. He will pull out a Waddle Dee, Waddle Doo or a Gordo that will help him attack opponents. Finally, his down move is called Jet Hammer. It’s basically his hammer, but extremely more powerful in this down move mode and can cause a lot of damage.

What did you think of the DOJO news this week? Oh, and don’t forget about Krystal
