I am dismayed to report that the rats are better. I’m not exactly sure how they’re better, but they’re definitely better.
Late last week, we got a press release that confirmed Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has been optimized for Xbox Series S/X. Without mentioning specifics of the technical upgrade, we were only told “Vermintide 2 now runs smoother than ever before, allowing for some truly silky smooth and visually satisfying rat killing.”
I needed to take the weekend to process and cope with the fact that the rats are now better. The rats are smoother. The rats are silkier. Next-gen was a mistake.
