The quest to put 2B in every game possible continues with a Resident Evil 2 Remake mod

Pretty soon 2B will be uploaded directly into our consciousness

2B or not 2B? It’s 2B. I am the first person to make that joke: thank you.

2B has been invading nearly every game since her 2017 debut in NieR: Automata, which includes a host of mod inclusions from fans and official content drops like her appearance in Soulcalibur. You can add another one to the pile, as modder zhongyingjie has uploaded a character model for the Resident Evil 2 remake.

Once again, you’re going to need a PC copy for this one (the gift that keeps on giving when people are sharing mods for this a decade down the line). It’s a simple change: you get to play as 2B by way of a “Claire cosplay” as the author puts it, which mods over the Noir costume.

It’s wild to see Yoko Taro’s work, which was once enjoyed by a niche group, get this big. The dude has been in the industry for over two decades so he must be ecstatic that he’s now a worldwide household name.
