The outlandish Headlander is out this month

On PC and PS4

Double Fine’s Headlander now has a release date of July 26 on PC and PS4, and if you haven’t seen any footage of it yet, you should probably watch it — it looks bonkers.

It has that old school sci-fi vibe, especially with the concept of free will as it pertains to the far future setting that’s ruled by robots. In fact, you play as a human head who can jump into other robot’s “neck holes” for extra powers (anyone else feeling the Oddworld influences?).

If you dig this style consider checking out The Deadly Tower of Monsters.
