The other unreleased Sega Pluto console has been found

Yesterday we found out that a former Sega employee had in his possession an unreleased console called the Sega Pluto. The console is essentially the Sega Saturn, but with a Netlink built into it. The former Sega employee said that there are supposedly only two Pluto consoles that were ever made, and as it turns out, a Destructoid reader owns the other one!

Dtoid reader kidvid666 told me that he picked up the Pluto around five or six years ago at a flea market for just a $1. Yes, $1. Crazy! The system works, but the lid is broken and won’t stay shut on its own.

kidvid is thinking about putting up the console on eBay at some point, and we’ll let you know when that happens. In the meantime, you can see the console in action in his little video demo.
