The original Mafia is once again available digitally

But it lost the licensed tracks in the process

Now, you might not be itching to play 2002’s Mafia right this second. I’m definitely not! But, if and when that time ever does arrive, you’ll be thankful to have quick and easy access to this defining open-world action-adventure title. It’s once again available digitally, this time through GOG.com.

This particular Windows version of Mafia is DRM-free and costs $15. While the game’s original soundtrack is left in tact, it regrettably “contains no licensed tracks due to copyright restrictions.”

If that’s the price to pay to get this back on digital distribution platforms, so be it.
