The Order: 1886 has been pushed back to ‘early 2015’

Originally targeted for quarter 4 of 2014

At a recent preview event for The Order: 1886, Sony revealed that Ready at Dawn is now targeting an early 2015 release date for its game. Previously, it had been aiming for a quarter 4 release in 2014. Contributing factors to the delay weren’t discussed by Ready at Dawn or Sony.

This delay isn’t necessarily surprising given Sony’s general lack of promoting the game. Apart from a small snippet being streamed on Twitch last week, very little has been mentioned lately with regard to The Order: 1886. Of course, with E3 right around the corner, that could all change rather quickly.

And, as we all know, delays aren’t necessarily a bad thing. I think everyone can typically agree that it’s better to wait for a game than to be saddled with some half-finished disaster that should’ve been delayed in the first place.
