[Update: Amazon has more pictures of the controller up, including the western packaging, which you can view in the gallery below.]

Well, this is a nice thing to wake up to.

For its Japanese release, Bandai Namco is providing the opportunity to buy a Pokkén Tournament HORI controller, just like the one found at the arcades. Thankfully, the western version also popped up last night on Amazon for $24.99.

The controller will be released (tentatively) on March 18, 2016 — note that the game is still set for a “Quarter 2” US release date. Also note, perhaps more importantly, that the remote will only work with Pokkén Tournament, and “will not function properly with other game titles.”

Having used this in arcades I already know I like it, so I put down my pre-order.

Pokken Tournament [Amazon — Thanks, Jeff!]
