Although the recent Naruto Shippuden game was technically developer Cyberconnect2’s last foray into the series, you’d be crazy to think that Namco Bandai would just let that franchise die out. Nope, the magical ninja crew is appearing in yet another Naruto game on Android and iOS, called Ultimate Ninja Blazing. It’s free-to-play, coming “soon,” and is only announced for Japan so far.
I always think it’s a hilarious juxtaposition to the rest of the industry — to see games basically announced and released within weeks of said announcement. Meanwhile we’re still waiting for the next Zelda and Mighty No. 9 years later.
