[Update: Pre-orders are now live]

It looks like the next D-Arts Mega Man figure has been revealed, and it’s a variant of a character who already has two figures out in the wild — Black Zero. For those of you who may not partake in the Mega Man series, “Black Zero” is actually a formidable upgrade suit for Zero himself, that debuted in Mega Man X4 in a playable form.

It’s basically Zero’s “Ultimate Armor,” and depending on the game, it grants him extra saber power, dash distance, weapon energy, and upgrades his defensive abilities. If you want the figure, you’ll have to pre-order it starting this Friday, as it’s not going to be in retail stores.

So while it’s not the most interesting addition to the D-arts line, it still has precedent in the franchise. Personally, I’m just hoping it runs down the price of the other two Zero figures.
