JoJo’s Bizarre (not of D12 fame) Adventure: Eyes of Heaven is the newest brawler from CyberConnect2, and although it was released last December in Japan, it’s gearing up for a June 28 release in the west (July 1 in Europe). If you want a basic rundown of what you’re getting into, take a look at the adventures of Robert E.O. Speedwagon, Dio the vampire, and of course, Jotaro Kujo for yourself.
If you’ve never seen or played anything related to JoJo’s before, avert your eyes. The rest of you can ogle at the pure batshit insanity of it all, framed around the Joestar family and their eternal struggle with evil. My first exposure to the series was on the Dreamcast back in 1999, and I’ve enjoyed it casually ever since, so I’m excited to give Heaven a shot.
