Yup, we’re getting old.
It’s hard to imagine that it was 30 years ago yesterday, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross hit the airwaves in Japan. The first series which consisted of 36 episodes would forever change my life, and heavily mold my future anime, manga, and gaming taste. How much has Macross and its US adaptation as part of Robotech effected your life?
From hot new movie reviews to Fall anime roundups, The Network has some ideas on how to spend some of your Super Dimensional money this weekend. I’ll be working on some exciting features for next week’s Macross Week, over at Japanator, so Protoculture addicts should check back in to get their fix. Join me in wishing the Macross series and the lovely Miss Minmei a happy 30th birthday, and feeling old about the whole thing.
