The Mewtwo amiibo will launch on October 23 in Europe

Hopefully worldwide too

Nintendo of Europe has just announced that the fabled Mewtwo amiibo will launch on October 23, 2015. This announcement seems to be Europe-centric for now, but it would make sense that the worldwide date would be around that time as well. After all, the only other staggered releases so far in Europe have been the Woolly World amiibo, which were sold with the game that isn’t even out in the US yet.

Want to take bets on where Mewtwo will be exclusive to because Nintendo loves making them less accessible to their fans? I’m sure some exec was foaming at the mouth for a Chipotle exclusive deal and tried to make it happen at some point.
